No Longer Useless!
I woke up, in a exceptionally good mood today, mostly because I realized last night, that my back has healed enough that I can lift things again! Yay! I no longer feel freaking useless! I got to work at nine, and by nine-thirty I honestly had everything for pizzas stocked up. The little fridge was filled to the top with ready made pizzas, all the supplies were filled up, I had everything cleaned and wiped down, and I even filled up the condiment display and made fresh pretzels. After that, there was nothing else to do... so I asked if the drink cooler needed done. I promised I take it easy on myself, and not lift more than I can handle, and promised I'd quit if i felt it was straining my back. So, I started out small, lifting maybe 20lbs. tops, then I gradually started upping the weight. Eventually I was moving the entire flat of drinks, with out it bothering me at all. I couldn't do that even before I hurt my back. I figured, that before I get too excited about that, I ought to wait until morning, and see if i have any pain then. Well... it's morning, and I feel just fine. No pain at all. So basically I am back in action, and even better than I was before. My routine at the gym over break helped tremendously. My back is stronger than before, I feel a difference in my abs, as well as my arms. So yeah... I'm very pleased about last night.
However, I did manage to sleep through chapel this morning, which is not cool. Also, I had to read this one article by my professor for the class I have right now. It's supposed to be on hold at the library. So I went down there, and was quickly informed by the girl working there that the library doesn't have any copies of that article, and she's really getting tired of having to inform all of us of that. So yeah, I've got a test today in that class, part of which is on that article, which nobody in the class has been able to read. How lovely. Speaking of having a test in that class, I've got an hour until test time, so I think I will go do a little studying for it now.
