I get beyond the point of being annoyed when the following happens:
I run into someone form high school, that would have been considered a good friend of mine back then, and who I haven't really spent any time with since high school. She will without a doubt say the following: "Jen! OMG, I haven't talked to you in like, FOREVER! We so need to hang out sometime and catch up!" She will be all smiles and pretend to be happy to see me. Then i go to the work of trying to figure out when would be a good time to hang out. Then either she never gets back to me, or she says that it sounds good, but does not show up. It drives me nuts. Yet, being the girl who never learns and insists on assuming the best of everyone, a few months later, I'll run into this girl again and we will go through this whole process once more.

This actually happened a few weeks ago. I saw this girl we chatted a while, and later she emailed me saying we need to hang out. I emailed her back telling her when my Thanksgiving break is, and that since I'm not working at the sub shop anymore, I'll be free for almost the whole time. She still hasn't replied. I mean honestly, if you don't want to hang out, stop pretending that you do.
