December

Wow... it's December already. The temperature has been in the upper 60's to lower 70's today though, so it definitely doesn't feel like it. There is snow in the forecast for this weekend though.

By the way, I am feeling great, there's almost no pain anymore. As for the Finals Countdown, here's the updated version:

5 days of classes, 4 days of finals.

Global Christianity:
3 classes left
Read Christianity Rediscovered (Dec. 8)
I've got a good amount read already
Write a summary of it (Dec. 8)
Have a little of that done up too.
Get my notebook in order and hand it in. (Dec. 8)
I plan on working on this quite a bit this weekend

Introduction to Social Research:
3 classes left
Experiment Assignment (Dec. 4)
Got it all set up, just have to run it and calculate the results.
Experiment Presentation (Dec. 14)
Nothing to stress over there

Cognition:
2 classes left
Assignments 7,8,&9 (Dec. 7)
7 is basically finished already
Exam #3 (Dec. 7)
Final Exam (Dec. 12)

Human Biology:
2 classes and 1 Lab left
Lab Practical (Dec. 4)
I'm totally prepared for that.
Reading Assignment #4 (Dec. 13)
Final Exam (Dec. 13)

Encountering the Old Testament:
Study Questions (Dec. 5)
Study Questions (Dec. 7)
Final Project (Dec. 14)
It'd be nice if the class knew what the heck the project is.

The next two weeks will be a little on the stressful side, but after that, I've got no idea exactly what I am in for. As already you should no already, I was terminated at Redners a little before Thanksgiving. So I called up the Korner to see if they'd be needing any extra help, and I was informed that they have more help than they actually need lined up for over break. Sharon did tell me that she'd see what she could do about squeezing me in though. So I don't know, I just don't know, it did not sound very promising. I was really looking forward to the prospect of seeing some of the girls and my former regulars again. Oh well... if I'm not working, that opens up my schedule to maybe head over to DelVal and see Melissa again. I might get to learn how to milk a goat. As odd as this sounds, the prospect is oddly appealing to me.
