Friendship

I can clearly recall sitting out in the hallway during my A&P class during my senior year with my friend Melissa. We had a really sad conversation where we tried to predict who we'd still be in contact with a year later. Well, it's almost 2 years later now, and it's heart breaking to see, that most of her predictions turned out to be right. It's true, after graduation, you learn who your true friends were, back in high school, real fast. They either become eveything we as outcasts, despised at the time, or they start ignoring you. It's really quite annoying. One in particular, stands out at the moment. I considered this gril a real good friend back then, but since high school ended, we hang out occasionally if I'm home for the weekend or something, and we talk via IM, and the phone, yet at random times she starts ignoring me or will stand me up when we make plans. WTF? At this very moment I'm being ignored. I called her the thursday before christmas, really needing to talk to her, left a message, then called again on friday leaving another message. Do you think she's had anytime in the past let's see... 10 days, to call me back? Nope. We went shopping the week before that, and had a good time, I don't think I did anything to piss her off then. Sheesh... I didn't think that operating a cell phone was that hard.
